How To Install The LastPass Authenticator Application For Mobile Two Factor Authentication
- Sign into your LastPass account and open your vault.
- Click on Account Settings on the bottom left-hand side of the screen
- On your mobile device, open up the App and you should see a + symbol on the screen or an option to ‘Add an account’ click on either of those. You will be prompted to allow permissions for the application to use your camera. You will need to allow these permissions for the App to work. Once you have allowed the App access it will open up your camera.
16. LastPass will log you out and you will need to log back in. Once you login, you will see a prompt for a Passcode which will be sent as a notification to your phone to ‘Allow’ or you can open the App and type in the 6-digit code that is shown within the App.
Once you are able to login, you have completed the Two Factor Authentication for your LastPass.
